Conditions of participation for the raffle as part of the survey from 25.04.-05.05.2024

§ 1 General provisions

The organiser of this competition is MILLENNIUM 2000 GmbH, Alte Landstraße 21a, D-85521 Ottobrunn.
The competition runs from 25.04.2024 at 09:00 to 05.05.2024 at 23:59 (CEST). Participation is only possible within this period.
This competition is not an unauthorised gambling event (§ 284 StGB).

§ 2 Participation in the competition

Any person who expressly agrees to these provisions and has reached the age of 18 is eligible to participate.
Employees of the organiser and any cooperation partners involved and their relatives are excluded from participation.
In order to participate in the competition, it is essential that all personal details are truthful. Failure to do so may result in exclusion.
Participants agree that their names may be published on the organiser's website if they win.

§ 3 Realisation of the competition and determination of the winners

All participants in our survey who complete the questionnaire and send it to us within the specified period will be entered into the draw.
The winners will be selected from all participants by an automatic random generator.
The winners will be notified by email after being selected by the automatic random generator.
The winners must reply within 7 days of being notified, stating their contact address for the prize to be sent to them. Failure to confirm our prize notification in due time will result in forfeiture of the prize and another winner will be drawn.
Objections to this are not possible.

§ 4 Prize offered

1x M922 Mephisto Phoenix chess computer + medium chessboard will be raffled off.
The prize will be sent to the winners by post to the address provided.
The prize cannot be exchanged and cash payment of the prize value is excluded. The organiser reserves the right to offer other prizes if circumstances so require. No claims can be made in this respect.

§ 5 Liability

The Organiser shall be released from all obligations upon receipt of the prizes offered.
No liability is accepted for legal and/or material defects.
The announcement of the winners is made without guarantee. The organiser is not liable in any form for direct or indirect damages resulting from participation in the competition or the inaccessibility of the Internet server, unless these are due to gross negligence or intentional acts for which the organiser is responsible.

§ 6 Data protection

In order to take part in this competition, it is essential to provide personal data. The full name and a shipping address of the winners are required for the processing of the competition.
The participants agree that their personal data may be collected, stored and used by the organiser for the purpose of conducting and handling the competition. The data will not be used by third parties other than the organiser. Participants are free to revoke their consent to the storage of their data at any time and thus withdraw from participation.
Participants authorise the organiser to notify them in writing if they win.

§ 7 Premature termination of the competition

The organiser reserves the right to terminate the competition at any time without prior notice if, for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons, the proper execution of the competition cannot be guaranteed.

§ 8 Miscellaneous

Legal recourse is excluded.
These conditions of participation and the entire legal relationship between the participants and the organiser are subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall remain unaffected.
These conditions of participation may be amended by the organiser at any time without separate notification.

The competition runs from February 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. to February 6, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Participation is only possible within this period.
This competition is not an unauthorized gambling event (§ 284 StGB).

§ 2 Participation in the competition

Any person who has reached the age of 18 and expressly agrees to these provisions is entitled to participate.
Employees of the organizer and any participating cooperation partners and their relatives are excluded from participation.
To participate in the competition, it is essential that all personal information provided is truthful. Otherwise, exclusion may occur.
Participants agree that, in the event of a win, their names will be published on the organizer's website.

§ 3 Conduct of the competition and determination of the winners

The draw is open to all persons who follow the @millenniumchess Instagram account, like the competition post and tag at least two other Instagram accounts in the comments by February 6, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
The winners will be selected from all participants by an automatic randomizer.
The winners will be notified by direct message via the respective social network after they have been determined by the automatic random generator.
The winners must reply within 14 days of the prize notification with a direct message in which they provide a contact address for the prize to be sent. If you do not respond to our prize notification by the deadline, you will no longer be eligible for the prize and another winner will be drawn. Objections to this are not possible.

§ 4 Prize

A ChessChampion 2.0 chess computer will be raffled.
The prize will be sent to the winners by post to the address provided.
The prize cannot be exchanged and cash payment of the prize value is excluded. The organizer reserves the right to offer other prizes if circumstances require. No claims can be made in this regard.
