Natural playing feel
The fully automatic piece recognition and the move display by means of 81 LEDs enable a completely natural game feeling. There is no need to press on the pieces to enter the move, which is common for chess computers. Here you can move the pieces naturally and even drag them. You don't have to look away from the board to enter your opponent's moves. So your concentration stays where it should be - on the game!
Further advantages of the piece recognition:
- The board always knows which piece is where. If a piece falls over, the affected square flashes immediately. A change of view between display/screen and board is no longer necessary.
- Training setups are very easy: for example, you can play with only pawns and king - set up the pieces, confirm the position, start.
- You use apps to play online on the board? First of all, the board shows all moves via the LEDs, so you can safely ignore the cell phone display. But even if you place a piece one square too short, for example, the board notices this immediately and lights up the corresponding square. Convenience and user-friendliness increase significantly, since operating errors are excluded.

The ChessGenius Exclusive contains - eponymously - one of the most famous chess engines of all times: ChessGenius by Richard Lang.
With his 10 world championship titles in computer chess, the Englishman is without a doubt considered one of the most successful chess programmers of all time. His legendary program ChessGenius achieved the historic first victory of a chess program over a reigning world chess champion in an official tournament on August 31, 1994: world champion Garry Kasparov was defeated by 1.5 : 0.5 points at the Intel Grand Prix tournament in London.
In the latest version, ChessGenius can not only abandon its game in a hopeless situation, but also offer a draw. The engine is rightly considered an absolute classic of computer chess and offers, among other things, 2 opening libraries as well as 7 additional special books, with which you can train, for example, popular openings such as the Queen's Gambit.

Get the authentic chess feeling and play online chess on the real chess board. Connect your board via the ChessLink module to one of three free apps (ChessLink, chess.com, White Pawn) and find an opponent on lichess.org or chess.com or tornelo.com.
Or connect your board to one of several offline chess programs such as HIARCS or Chess for Android.
The connection between the board and your (mobile) device is established via the optional Bluetooth module ChessLink.
