The chessboard of the Mephisto M40 is made of high-quality real wood and impresses not only with its rosewood look, but also with a pleasant and aesthetic playing experience. The hand-crafted pieces are robust, weighted and of the highest quality, equipped with an RFID chip that automatically recognizes their position.
The special hardened surface of the board reliably protects it from scratches and wear. There are 81 invisible LEDs integrated into the squares, which display the moves of the opponent or the chess software. The LEDs can also be deactivated if required.
The ChessLink module is already included and allows you to connect to online platforms such as Chess.com and Lichess.org. You can play online with your smartphone, tablet or PC, or directly with the Mephisto Phoenix chess computer, which has a playing strength of up to 3500 ELO.
It is compatible with many chess programs that help you improve your game. You can use Hiarcs Chess Explorer, a powerful analysis and database tool, or use it with other programs such as Arena, Fritz or Chessbase. The platforms Chess.com and Lichess.org are also open to you via the Chess Connect software. This gives you access to comprehensive opening libraries, tactical exercises, Chess960 and much more. You can also save your games and call them up again at any time.
The board is easy to use: You only need the supplied cable to connect your board to the ChessLink module or a chess computer module.
The connection to other end devices is wireless via Bluetooth or a USB cable. The Hot Swap pieces allow you to use pieces from other Supreme Tournament boards at any time if you lose a piece.
It is modular and expandable. You can connect your Mephisto M40 E-Board to other Millennium chess computer modules, such as the Chess Classics Element or the Mephisto Phoenix.
You can also use the ChessVolt to power your board if you don't have a power outlet nearby.
For storage and transportation, you can use our optional flight cases, which are custom-made and sturdy.
